Based in Central London, the practice has built an excellent reputation within the rail sector and continues to secure major projects with clients including Network Rail, Transport for London and London Underground.

Thanks to a strong pipeline of secured work, they are now looking to strengthen their technical team with the appointment of an Architectural Technician or experienced Part II Architectural Assistant.
About the Role
Working as part of an experienced technical team, you’ll be responsible for producing high-quality technical drawing packages and supporting the delivery of complex rail and transport projects across multiple RIBA stages.
This is a hands-on technical role suited to someone who enjoys producing detailed technical information, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and working on nationally significant infrastructure projects.
About You

Key Responsibilities

Produce accurate technical drawing packages for UK rail and infrastructure projects.

Develop detailed construction information and technical documentation.

Work closely with Architects, Associates and Project Directors to deliver projects on programme.

Coordinate information with multidisciplinary design teams.

Ensure drawings comply with client requirements and industry standards.

Support project delivery from design through to construction.

Attend project and coordination meetings where required.
Requirements

Architectural Technician or experienced Part II Architectural Assistant.

MicroStation experience is essential.

UK rail project experience is highly desirable.

Candidates with experience delivering large-scale UK logistics, industrial or distribution centre projects will also be considered.

Strong technical drawing package and detailing experience.

Good understanding of UK construction methods and technical standards.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

A proactive attitude with a desire to develop within a specialist transport practice.
