About the Role

We are looking for an Architectural Technician, Technologist or technically focused Architect to support bespoke residential projects from planning through to completion. You will produce accurate technical information, resolve construction details and help ensure that quality, coordination and compliance remain high throughout.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare planning and technical drawing packages using AutoCAD, supported by 3D and hand-drawn communication where appropriate.
• Develop practical, refined bespoke details and help maintain drawing, specification and office-detail standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, manufacturers and the wider project team.
• Research materials, products and construction methods to support informed technical decisions.
• Produce meeting notes, technical records, SketchUp models and photographic information as required.
• Undertake site visits, progress and quality inspections, defect analysis and snagging.
• Support smaller projects with space planning, technical layouts and NBS Chorus specifications.

About You

• A degree in Architectural Technology or a recognised architectural degree, with strong technical delivery experience.
• Typically five years’ post-qualification experience; exceptional recently qualified Architects with a technical focus will be considered.
• Excellent AutoCAD skills, including Xrefs, external references and structured layering.
• A solid working knowledge of UK Building Regulations, construction methods and NBS Chorus.
• Confident use of SketchUp, freehand technical sketching and basic Photoshop; Revit experience is welcome.
• High standards, strong organisation and clear communication, with a collaborative and practical approach.
• Experience in high-end residential projects, bespoke detailing or construction technology would be advantageous.
