About the Role

We are seeking a talented Senior Design Architect to lead the early design stages of prestigious residential projects. Working closely with the Directors, you will develop concepts, guide planning work and take schemes through RIBA Stage 3 before coordinating their transition to the delivery team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the concept and developed-design stages of projects from initial client brief through RIBA Stage 3.
• Develop and present compelling proposals using freehand sketches, diagrams and digital modelling.
• Manage planning and listed-building consent work, including drawings, Design and Access Statements and consultant coordination.
• Represent projects in discussions with planning and design officers, and coordinate submissions and planning conditions.
• Maintain design quality while coordinating Directors, consultants, junior colleagues and the technical delivery team.

About You

• ARB-registered Architect (Part III qualified) with at least five years’ post-Part III experience in UK practice.
• An outstanding conceptual designer with strong freehand sketching, visualisation and presentation skills.
• Experience leading luxury residential or boutique hospitality projects, ideally valued at £5 million and above.
• Confident working directly with clients, leading workshops and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong organisation, attention to detail and a passion for exceptional bespoke residential architecture.
