About the Role
We are seeking experienced Airport Planners to join our client’s dynamic team in London. This is a full-time, permanent position with a negotiable salary, reflecting your experience and expertise. As an Airport Planner, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of airport infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include masterplanning, terminal planning, capacity planning, and delivering high-quality design solutions that meet the complex needs of airport clients.
You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of architects and planners, contributing to a wide range of airport planning and architectural projects. The role demands a deep understanding of contemporary aviation design issues, relevant standards and legislation, and the ability to deliver comprehensive feasibility studies, concept designs, and due diligence reports.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience & Qualifications: Demonstrable experience in airport planning or a relevant qualification in the field. A keen interest in aviation and airport terminal design is essential.
- Skills & Abilities:

- Strong knowledge of airport client requirements and contemporary aviation design issues.

- Expertise in airport masterplanning, airfield and stand planning, terminal and facility planning, and ancillary building facility planning.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe CS, and Microsoft Office is essential.

- Preferred experience with dynamic simulation software.

- Ability to combine conceptual thinking with practical masterplanning solutions, implementation scenarios, and business planning.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of delivering high-level decision-making client presentations.

- Understanding of economic and investment parameters, and experience conducting feasibility studies and due diligence.
