About the Company

Our client is an award-winning multi-disciplinary design practice based in London, known for delivering cohesive architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, and visualisation services across the UK and internationally. With a strong reputation in sectors like hospitality, commercial, and residential-led mixed-use schemes, they specialise in both the refurbishment of listed buildings and new build developments on redundant or brownfield sites.

The practice is committed to fostering an environment where staff are rewarded, supported, and given opportunities to thrive both professionally and personally. This dedication has earned them recognition through multiple industry awards, including Building Magazine’s Good Employer Award and the Architects’ Journal AJ100 Employer of the Year Award. Operating from modern design studios in West London, with a team of around 70 professionals, the practice offers competitive salaries and award-winning benefits.

About the Role

As a BIM Coordinator, you will join the central BIM team and play a critical role in ensuring the effective use of Revit and associated technologies across projects. Your responsibilities will include setting up project models, implementing volume and modelling strategies, and supporting project teams in delivering coordinated models, data, and reports. You will also be responsible for maintaining project BIM Execution Plans, facilitating BIM coordination meetings, and ensuring compliance with industry standards such as ISO19650.

You will work closely with teams on large residential projects, particularly from RIBA Stage 3 onwards, and contribute to the practice’s overall BIM strategy. In addition to project-based responsibilities, you will support the development of best practices for information production, provide training to project teams, and represent the practice at BIM meetings and events.

About You

To be successful in this role, you should be qualified as an Architect or an Architectural Technician/Technologist and have a minimum of 3 years of UK professional experience as a BIM Coordinator. Experience in working on large residential projects and delivering through the BIM process across all RIBA work stages is essential.

You must have a sound technical understanding of UK construction processes, procedures, and regulations, as well as experience with project BIM deliverables (ISO19650) and multidiscipline BIM coordination, including clash detection and data audits. Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (minimum 5 years), Navisworks, and BIMCollab is required, along with good knowledge of Dynamo and Rhino.

Strong communication skills, both oral and written, are vital, and you should be proficient in document and report writing. Experience with Common Data Environments (CDE), NBS specifications (NBS Chorus), and internal presentations will be important in this role. Additional experience with Rhino Inside Revit, Grasshopper, Solibri, and programming languages like Python or C# is desirable but not essential.

You should be enthusiastic about research and development, with a keen interest in exploring new design tools and technologies to enhance productivity and challenge existing workflows.

This is super fun environment to work in with great work/life balance and many opportunities for growth.
