About the Role

This role is suited to a Senior Architect with 3+ years of post-qualification experience. You will contribute to and lead cultural projects across the RIBA stages, supporting design development, technical delivery and project coordination.

The role involves working closely with senior leadership, clients and consultants, while managing project packages, supporting team members and contributing to the delivery of projects from inception through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to projects across RIBA Stages 2–6.
• Support Associates and Partners on major cultural projects.
• Manage project packages and day-to-day project delivery.
• Lead and support teams of architects and architectural assistants.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and wider project teams.
• Provide technical design leadership and contribute to technical reviews.
• Support project delivery, financial performance and client satisfaction.
• Contribute to conservation, refurbishment and work involving existing buildings.
• Support the development of technical, design and conservation knowledge within the team.
• Assist with mentoring and line management responsibilities.

About You

• ARB registration and RIBA, RICS or equivalent qualification.
• 3+ years of experience post-qualification.
• Experience working across RIBA Stages 2–6.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and NBS.
• Strong technical design and detailing skills.
• Experience contributing to or leading major and complex projects.
• Project and people management experience.
• Experience in project management and contract administration is desirable.
• Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and Planning Regulations.
• Experience working with existing buildings, with conservation experience or an interest in historic buildings desirable.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines.
• Comfortable working collaboratively and supporting the development of others.
