About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager with expertise in fire regulation compliance to join their growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the planning, design, and execution of residential developments, ensuring full compliance with the latest fire safety standards and planning obligations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the full project lifecycle of new-build residential developments, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Implementing and enforcing fire safety standards, working with design teams and consultants to integrate best practices.
  • Managing Section 106 obligations, ensuring all legal commitments related to affordable housing, infrastructure contributions, and community benefits are met.
  • Liaising with planning authorities, building control, and fire safety consultants to maintain regulatory adherence.
  • Monitoring contractor performance to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards.
  • Providing project updates and reports to stakeholders, addressing progress, budgetary concerns, and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborating with internal and external teams to facilitate seamless project execution.

About You

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Project Manager with a strong understanding of UK fire safety regulations and residential development project management.

Key skills and experience required:

  • Demonstrable experience in project management within the residential development sector.
  • Strong knowledge of UK fire safety regulations, including Approved Document B and other statutory requirements.
  • Hands-on experience managing Section 106 agreements and planning obligations.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex construction and regulatory environments.
  • Experience working with local authorities, fire safety consultants, and compliance teams.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Revit and Adobe Suite is desirable.
  • A degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary: £50,000 – £65,000 (dependent on experience)
