About the Role
Duration: Contract Maternity Leave – 13 months
This is an excellent opportunity for a Business Development & Bid Manager to join a high-performing and well-regarded architecture practice.
You will lead the preparation of EOIs, bids, PQQs, and ITTs, and support directors in identifying and responding to strategic business opportunities. The role combines bid coordination, client relationship management, and marketing support; all focused on driving growth and ensuring the studio remains front of mind for prospective clients.
You’ll be the central point of coordination for business development meetings, marketing events, and CRM activity, and play a key part in delivering the tactical marketing plan in alignment with the wider business strategy.
About You
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented bid and business development professional who understands the architecture or wider design consultancy environment.
Key skills and experience:
- Proven experience managing EOIs, ITTs, PQQs and bid submissions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of marketing principles and collateral development
- Comfortable running business development meetings and supporting directors
- Confident managing CRM systems and reporting on client activity
- Skilled in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office
- Familiar with ISO 9001 processes and quality standards
- Collaborative and professional with excellent time management skills
This role would suit someone with previous experience working with Architects, Designers, Engineers, or from a consultancy or graphic design background who enjoys working across bids, BD strategy, and client engagement.
