About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Studio Director to lead the creative, operational, and commercial direction of a new hospitality-focused studio in Dubai. This is a high-impact leadership role that combines hands-on design with team management and business development across the EMEA region.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading design direction across architecture and interiors from concept to completion
Overseeing the development of masterplans, sketches, mood boards, and design proposals
Building, mentoring, and managing a growing team of talented designers
Leading client-facing activity including design pitches, presentations, and strategic discussions
Developing new business opportunities and expanding the studio’s client base across EMEA
Staying ahead of trends, innovations, and sustainable design practices in the hospitality sector

You’ll be working at the highest level of hospitality design, delivering landmark projects and building a legacy within one of the world’s most respected studios.

About You

We’re looking for a dynamic leader with a strong background in hospitality architecture and interiors, and a track record of building teams and growing business:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
15+ years of experience in hospitality design, including masterplanning, architecture, and interiors
Proven ability to manage and mentor multidisciplinary design teams
Strong portfolio showcasing high-profile hospitality projects
Demonstrated experience in business development and client relationship management
Previous experience working in the Middle East is essential
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop); Revit preferred
Fluent in English with excellent communication and presentation skills
