As they continue to expand their portfolio, they are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead and deliver high-profile, complex architectural projects from concept to completion.

About the Role

As Project Director, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple large-scale projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest design and construction standards. This is a leadership role, requiring strategic direction, team management, and client relationship-building to drive successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership
  • Manage the full lifecycle of high-profile architectural projects, ensuring delivery meets design intent and client expectations.
  • Oversee design and construction processes, coordinating with internal teams and external consultants.
  • Maintain a strategic vision for each project, ensuring objectives align with the firm’s ethos and industry standards.
 Team & Stakeholder Management
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team of architects, designers, and project managers.
  • Act as the key liaison between clients, consultants, and contractors, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Provide guidance on resolving design and technical challenges while maintaining a high-quality output.

 Client Engagement & Business Development
  • Foster and strengthen relationships with high-profile clients, ensuring continued partnerships and repeat business.
  • Translate client aspirations into design-led solutions, advocating for excellence at every stage of the project.
  • Represent the firm at industry events and client meetings, supporting business growth initiatives.
Project Planning & Risk Management
  • Develop and implement project strategies, timelines, and budgets, ensuring smooth execution.
  • Identify potential risks and proactively address challenges to maintain project progress.
  • Ensure all designs comply with UAE building codes, sustainability regulations, and industry best practices.

About You

This role is suited to an experienced Project Director or Senior Associate Director who thrives in leading complex, large-scale projects within a high-performance architectural environment.
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture (Chartered status preferred).
  • 15+ years of experience, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing high-value, multi-disciplinary projects from concept to completion.
  • Strong understanding of UAE building codes, regulations, and sustainability frameworks (LEED/BREEAM preferred).
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and team-building skills.
  • Proficiency in Revit, BIM, AutoCAD, and project management tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and exceptional design outcomes.
