About the Company
A growing architectural practice with multiple offices across the South of England is looking to add an experienced Architectural Technician to its Chichester office.
The practice has a strong pipeline of projects across a range of sectors and is continuing to grow its teams. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative environment and take responsibility for the technical delivery of projects across different project types and scales.
About the Role
The role will focus on the technical delivery of projects from RIBA Stage 4 onwards, with an emphasis on producing high-quality construction information and coordinated technical packages.
You will work closely with architects, consultants and contractors, taking responsibility for technical information and helping to resolve design and construction issues throughout the project.
Experience on commercial, education or defence projects would be particularly beneficial.
Key Responsibilities

Produce detailed technical and construction information from Stage 4 onwards

Develop and coordinate Revit models and drawing packages

Take responsibility for technical packages across projects

Coordinate architectural information with consultants and contractors

Ensure technical information meets UK Building Regulations and project requirements

Attend site visits and assist with resolving technical issues

Manage technical deliverables and project deadlines

Support the wider project team throughout construction
About You
We are looking for an Architectural Technician with 3+ years’ experience and a strong technical and construction background.
You will ideally have:

3+ years’ experience within an architectural practice

Strong technical and construction detailing experience
-
Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations

Strong Revit experience
-
Experience working across RIBA Stages 4 onwards

Experience producing coordinated construction information
-
Good understanding of technical coordination with consultants and contractors

Strong communication and organisational skills
-
Commercial, education or defence project experience would be advantageous
-
The ability to work collaboratively and manage your own workload
