I’m working with a long-term client who continues to develop its business and grow its team. They have a strong and varied project pipeline and are now looking to add a confident and ambitious Architect to the team.
The practice works across a range of project types, providing the opportunity to gain exposure to different sectors and scales of work while developing your design skills and career.
About the Role
This is a design-focused role, working closely with a Director across the front-end stages of projects.
The key focus will be on design development, concept work and helping shape projects from the early stages. You will be encouraged to contribute your own ideas, take ownership of elements of projects and play an active role in developing the design.
The role would suit someone who is passionate about architecture, confident in their design ability and ambitious to develop their career. You will work closely with the Director and wider team across a varied range of projects. There is genuine potential to develop your role and take on greater responsibility as the business continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities

Work across the front-end and design stages of projects

Develop concepts and design proposals

Assist the Director with design development

Contribute ideas and take ownership of elements of projects

Produce design information and presentations

Work collaboratively with the wider project team

Develop designs across a range of project types and scales

Support projects from concept through to later stages
About You
We are looking for a confident, creative and ambitious Architect who is passionate about design and wants to develop their career within a growing practice.
You will ideally have:

Experience working across front-end and design stages

Strong creative and design capability
-
The confidence to contribute ideas and develop designs independently

Experience working on larger-scale projects would be beneficial

Education, commercial or similar sector experience would be advantageous

Good communication and presentation skills

A proactive approach with the ability to take ownership

The ambition to develop and take on greater responsibility
