About the Role

We are keen to speak with Part II Architectural Assistants with a minimum of 1 to 2 years of post-qualification experience. You will contribute to a varied portfolio of projects as part of a highly skilled and motivated team, with exposure to later project stages and technical detailing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to a varied portfolio of projects within the high end sector.
  • Support later project stages, particularly RIBA Stages 4 and 5, and contribute to technical detailing.
  • Prepare clear drawings and presentation material, with strong attention to detail.
  • Apply awareness of building technologies, environmental design, structural theories, construction techniques and processes.
  • Work within relevant technical standards, regulatory frameworks and health and safety requirements.
  • Manage priorities and deadlines across a varied workload.

About You

  • RIBA Part 2 qualification with a minimum of 1 – 2 years post qualification experience
  • Strong drawing, presentation and design skills.
  • Exposure to RIBA Stages 4 and 5 and some technical-detailing experience.
  • Experience with existing buildings, preferably listed buildings, and an interest in the conservation of historic buildings.
  • An eye for detail and awareness of technical standards, regulatory frameworks and health and safety requirements.
  • Well organised, with strong time management and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
  • Good communication and people skills.
