About the Role
An opportunity has arisen for an Architectural Technician to join the team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will work across a range of residential-led projects, contributing to the production and coordination of technical design information through key delivery stages.
The role will involve supporting projects through RIBA Stages 3–5, working closely with architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure accurate and coordinated technical documentation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Producing technical design packages, specifications, tender documentation, and detailed construction drawings
- Supporting projects through RIBA Work Stages 3–5
- Collaborating with clients, consultants, contractors, and wider project teams
- Assisting with CDM Designer responsibilities where required
- Attending site appraisals, surveys, client meetings, and site inspections
- Contributing to a collaborative team environment, mentoring and supporting colleagues where appropriate
About You
The ideal candidate will have strong technical capability and experience working on UK residential projects. You will be organised, detail-oriented, and confident producing construction information.
Requirements include:
- Minimum 3 years’ UK project experience in architectural practice
- Experience delivering residential projects, including apartment buildings and housing schemes
- Strong construction knowledge with the ability to produce technical detailing
- Experience working through RIBA Stages 3–5
- Proficiency in Revit – AutoCAD is beneficial
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a project team
