About the Role

We are seeking a Project Coordinator (Interior Design) to support the design and delivery of high-profile projects. The role involves coordinating project activities, managing technical documentation, assisting the design and delivery teams, and ensuring effective communication between internal and external stakeholders. This position is ideal for someone with strong technical knowledge, organisational skills, and experience managing design teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with designers and project managers to understand project requirements, objectives, and constraints
  • Coordinate day-to-day project activities and schedules across multiple interior design projects
  • Act as the central point of communication between internal teams (design, architecture, procurement, technical) and external stakeholders (clients, contractors)
  • Track project timelines, deliverables, and budgets to ensure deadlines are met
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and take proactive measures to mitigate risks
  • Maintain comprehensive project records, including internal correspondence, meeting minutes, and change orders
  • Review design drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards
  • Assist Project Manager in project management registers and tools (risk assessment, change orders, MoM, etc.)
  • Lead technical and outsourcing teams in producing detailed drawings
  • Highlight design development details and materiality to ensure the concept is implemented accurately
  • Provide detailed sketches for CAD technicians, detailers, and modelers
  • Manage overall drawing packages and coordinate QA/QC checks on all documentation
  • Review CAD and Revit drawings to ensure studio standards are followed
  • Guide the team on drawing numbering and project protocols

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in a design consultancy, ideally in Dubai or the GCC
  • Experience in luxury residential and hotel projects
  • Strong knowledge of interior design and architectural project lifecycles
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office; familiarity with Adobe InDesign a plus
  • Knowledge of local authority approval processes is advantageous
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to manage a technical production team
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-focused mindset
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Location & Salary
Location: Dubai, UAE
Salary: Up to AED 18,000 per month (depending on experience)
