About the Role

On behalf of our client, we are seeking experienced ecologists to join this growing team at various levels, including Project, Senior, Associate, and Director grades. For senior roles, additional responsibilities include project and people management, ensuring successful delivery of complex projects and mentoring junior staff. Our client’s many locations and flexible and hybrid working arrangements allow you to tailor your work environment to suit your needs.

About You

We are looking for passionate and knowledgeable ecologists who meet the following criteria:

Essential Requirements:

  • A degree in a relevant discipline and at least 2+ years of experience as a graduate ecologist in a planning or development-oriented role. (5-8+ years for senior/director roles)
  • A proven track record in report writing for EIA/ES, BNG, and BREEAM assessments.
  • A solid understanding of UK wildlife legislation and the planning system.
  • Good knowledge of British flora and fauna.

Benefits

In addition to a very competitive salary, our client offers a generous benefits package, including flexible and hybrid working arrangements designed to support work-life balance.
