About the Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing project costs and ensuring budgets are adhered to during the construction process. Based on-site, you will work closely with the Resident Engineer, Project Manager, contractors, and stakeholders to provide accurate cost assessments, risk management, and contractual advice. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities. 

• Reviewing construction plans and preparing detailed quantity requirements. 

• Negotiating contracts, work schedules, and budgets with contractors and subcontractors. 

• Conducting risk assessments, cost management, and value engineering during construction phases. 

• Evaluating and recommending interim payments, managing variations, and finalising accounts. 

• Monitoring project progress to ensure financial accuracy and adherence to budget. 

• Providing contractual advice on claims, disputes, and resolutions. 

• Building and maintaining professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 

About You

We’re looking for a skilled professional with a proven track record in Quantity Surveying, particularly within the UAE market. You’ll thrive in a dynamic construction environment and have a detail-oriented approach to cost control and contract management. 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management, accredited by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). 

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, with a strong emphasis on UAE-based projects. 

• Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and verbal. 

• Proficiency in construction cost estimation, risk analysis, and contract negotiation. 

• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. 

What’s on Offer: 

• Salary: AED 15,000 per month (negotiable for the right candidate).
