About the Role

This is an important hire; we are looking for a Design Delivery Vice President with 15-20 years of experience in premium hospitality projects. 

The appointed person must have large experience on project management and delivery of interior design projects, with strong leadership and communication skills. They must be able to manage different teams at times, as well as multiple projects simultaneously. These projects will include coordinating consultants, in addition to being the direct line of communication with the Chairman of the company. 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement strategies for the successful delivery of design projects, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall goals and objectives. 
  • Lead and manage design teams throughout the delivery phase, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. 
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring their expectations are met or exceeded through effective communication and project delivery. 
  • Oversee the allocation of resources across multiple projects, ensuring the optimal use of design talent, materials, and technology to achieve project goals. 
  • Establish and maintain rigorous quality control processes to ensure all design deliverables meet the company’s high standards and comply with industry regulations. 
  • Ensure all design projects adhere to relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards, maintaining the company’s reputation for excellence and integrity. 
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including other departments, suppliers, and contractors, to ensure seamless project execution. 
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions to project timelines, budgets, and outcomes.

The candidate must have a high attention to details and a commitment to quality, ensuring al design work is delivered to meet’s the company standards and client expectations.

  • Project Management: Expertise in project management, including the ability to oversee complex projects from inception to completion while managing budgets, timelines, and resources effectively. 
  • Creative Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities to address challenges that arise during project delivery, with a focus on innovative and practical solutions. 
  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of design principles, construction processes, and industry standards to ensure the highest quality in project execution. 
  • Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, to ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints.
