The multi-disciplinary teams which comprise environmental assessment and planning, landscape design, historic environments and ecology consultancy have won numerous industry and employer awards.
With established teams in six offices across the UK this company support a huge range of projects, at local and national levels. The business is extremely enthusiastic about finding new ways to apply emerging ecological principles and methods to the most challenging of policy and development projects.
About the Role
The role includes the opportunity to share and participate actively in the management and ownership of the business through the Employee Ownership Trust, which places full ownership of the company with the employees. Sharing commitment and motivation to help grow and develop our business as an equal partner.
Following significant growth the consultancy will expect you to be able to make occasional visits to all other offices alongside the role responsibilities:

Managing a complex portfolio of ecological consultancy projects. Completely adept at handling multiple people and teams in addition to a demonstrable accuracy and thorough expertise with project information / finance planning and systems.
Comprehensive knowledge of the development management process as it relates to biodiversity. Knowledge and experience of Biodiversity Net Gain and Ecological Impact Assessment) alongside a demonstrable knowledge of a wide range of ecological taxa, survey methods and assessment types.
Work-winning, across a variety of sectors, deploying business development skills from client engagement, networking and repeat commissions. Experience of stakeholder engagement and negotiation.

Delivery of projects on a variety of scales across a range of sectors.
Experience related to renewable energy projects.
Educated to degree level or with equivalent level of skills and knowledge.
Appropriate professional qualification (e.g. CIEEM) at a relevant level.
Current protected species licence(s).
