How
we work
Recruitment could do with a few more radical ideas, like acting in the customers’ interests
Relationships
Mutual benefit
Although not a co-operative, Locri is a collaborative network of industry experienced consultants, where the motivation is to match people to people (and candidates to employers) in ways that benefit everyone in the long-term.

We know your
world
We’ve all worked in the industry as architects or ecologists or urban designers, but we’ve realised that we get a bigger bang out of seeing other people find their ideal home.
That experience means we not only know many of the studios and most of the roles, but we know the culture, and the opportunities too.

Why matters
We’ve always worked closely with candidates to understand what drives them. Not just their creative and technical strengths or career goals, but their deeper motivations – how they see the world, how they see the sector, and the part they want to play in its future. It’s the only way we can help guide them through fulfilling, successful careers, and ensure we’re introducing them to organisations that are right for them.
But for that to really work, we need the same clarity from our clients. We need to know how you see the world. What you stand for beyond the numbers. What your vision is and why. Because without that deeper insight, we can’t make truly meaningful matches – the kind that stick, the kind that unlock great potential.

People are a
long-term investment
Recruitment is not a commodity business, but it often looks like that. A ‘specification’ is drawn up and a process enacted to find a resource that matches the need.
We like to think more about people’s lives, wellbeing, and happiness than about their CV or their raw earning potential.
